Video games & other wonderful things

Hi everyone how are things on your end?! a few days ago i picked up some old wonderful games i cant wait to show you and i am happy i finally own them 

First is Spyro year of the dragon of course for playstation 

Next is Jet set radio future for original Xbox but can be played on the 360 and for my Gamecube is resident evil 4 

That is it for new games i got 

Cake time 

Here is the recipe i used but you can change alot of things like the chocolate or tea flavors

I didn't use early gray tea i just used what ever breakfast tea i had also i didn't use a bunt pan i used my awesome spring form pan and i used for the sides to make it non stick i coated it with a thin layer of butter and coco powder you can also substitute yogurt for sour cream. its not a very sweet cakes so its very easy to enjoy with tea or other drinks 

Finally i finished my cowl ignore the derp face 

I tryed darken my hair again in purple it got a little more of the blonde but not all :(

Crocheting or knitting

Hey guys I'd like to talk about one of my favorite hobbies i crochet but when i was learning how to use yarn that was giving to me i tried my hand at knitting i wasn't very good at it so i gave up on it but 5 years ago my moms friend introduced me to crocheting. I fell in love and now i work with a bunch of wonderful amazing ladies who make a bunch crocheted or knitted items for people in the nursing home , the homeless , new born babies in the hospitals I'm pretty sure there is one more place but i sadly cant remember at the moment .We do it all for free, we don't sell are stuff unless the ladies ask and i guess it also depends on if we use are own yarn or not. I would like it if you give it a shot yarn is reasonable and buying or making the tools is easy or not to expensive plus homemade stuff is always good! the video's i posted are all a form of knitting i don't completely fail at

You guys have already seen my projects i am working on when it comes to the shawl i am mostly following the same pattern i am using to make a baby blanket for the new born's this is the 3rd baby blanket i am making/finishing that's why its taken me so long to finish my cowl is almost done just need to crochet a bit more on to it then sew it up and i wanted to add pompoms and yo-yo's to make it even more funky cult party vibe for the win haha.

On the side note i still cant read patterns i actually need someone to physically show how to do it that's how i learn but these are easy enough i don't need anyone to show me physically

Bag inspiration

I am a big fan of the bags the cult party girls and boys have with there outfits i decided it would be a good idea to post them up for inspiration plus i found some tutorials online which would be useful for recreating your own version of them if you would like.
I'd suggest going thrifting to get your materials its cheaper and gives them that whole vintage feel also a few of them i noticed looks like they are made using quilts so thats a whole lot of fabric for cheap

Hyacinth & hair

Hey everyone i hope your all doing well. Here's a mini update I went to the dollarama in are place and i was looking through the garden area i want more indoor plants cause not only do the make the place smell even better but also looks really nice. I bought this hyacinth plant for 3 bucks i will show you guys the progress on this little baby 

Roots are starting to grow in under a week just not in this photo i took this picture before it started to grow -.-

My new hair 

I tryed to pastel it i have to do it again to get more the blonde away but i do love it, it has a vintage feel to it 

Also i made a few things i made the necklace and the heart earrings for vday 

The brooch and the dress were both thrifted

Up to a little something

Hey guys i hope all is well where ever you are sorry i haven't posted in a while life is distracting at times but i do have some new stuff to post up i will admit i have been forgetting to take out my camera sometimes also taken pictures of myself in my outfits i forget to do that to sorry anyways. I'm gonna try and post more even if its just little short entries and use my camera more. I also changed the background color what do you guys think of it?

 I bought a pokemon keychain just cause i love the charms for it now i am trying to figure out what is gonna be made in to what i know its either gonna be necklace or earrings or both guys give me some idea's please like which ones for what? 

Here is the rest of my brothers Christmas gift to myself it took forever for me to get started on my Nightwing collection i guess it was my last order out of the 3 

Im sure everyone has made rice krispy treats well you can do the same thing with other cereals to this one i used corn flakes then pushed it into a pizza pan and poured melted chocolate over it, its not overly sweet which is nice and this one you can break up into chunks or cut  

Found these little babies at the dollar store the lemongrass citrus one smells super good i could smell it all days but when burning it, its very faint a little disappointing but oh well i have yet to burn the vanilla one i also want to use the containers afters for the awesome plant called succulents. 

My crochet adventures starts off with my cowl which is almost done i just need to do a few more things and its finished and i started working on my shawl which is the next photo i have to take it slow cause i struggle with joint pain in fingers sometimes so i had to tone down on gaming and crocheting its sad but i am happy i can atleast do both still 

A while back the man of the house decided to make us breakfast so yay it was delicious I'm happy he knows how to cook my eggs people have messed up before 

This is the best recipe for peanut butter cookies its super easy i usually don't even use a recipe so it much be shared 

Ingredients

1 cup of sugar ( I usually don't use a full cup it cause i roll the cookies in sugar afterwords)

1 cup peanut butter

1 egg

1 tsp vanilla 

2 tbsp flour

Mix together , roll into balls roll in sugar and use a folk to my the classic impression 

put onto greased cookie sheet 

bake for 15 mins at 350 this cookie is also good for making a cookie cake pretty much double the recipe & do 

all same thing but put in one of those greased shallow aluminum pans sprinkle sugar on the bottom then spread out the cookie dough and put some more sugar on top bake for the same amount of time once its cooled down you can write on it with your choice of icing

Easter 

This is one of my favorite holidays even tho we don't do much for it, its mostly just a excuse to make my bunny collection bigger and getting chocolate and peeps either when i crave them or when they are on sale.
There is a few good things around this holiday you can find more pastels items even if they are Easter theme

Recipes

Lemon bars 

Ingredients
1 cup of butter , 1/2 white sugar , 2 cups all purpose flour, 4 eggs , 1 1/2 white sugar 
1/4 all purpose flour, 2 lemons juiced and a 9 x 13 pan 

Directions
1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree F( 175 degree C) 
2. In a medium bowl , blend together softened butter, 2 cups of flour and 1/2 of sugar. Press into the bottom of a ungreased 9x13.
3. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in the preheated oven, or until firm and golden. In another bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 sugar and 1/4 cup flour. Whisk in the eggs and lemon juice. Pour over the baked crust.
4. Bake for additional 20 minutes in preheated oven. The bars will firm up as they cool

Easy brownies

         

You could try these. Also, if you have shortening, you can use that in place of the butter in baked goods. 

1/2 cup vegetable oil 
1 cup sugar 
1 teaspoon vanilla 
2 large eggs 
1/4 teaspoon baking powder 
1/3 cup cocoa powder 
1/4 teaspoon salt 
1/2 cup flour 
Directions 

Preheat oven to 350°. 
Mix oil and sugar until well blended. 
Add eggs and vanilla; stir just until blended. 
Mix all dry ingredients in a separate bowl. 
Stir dry ingredients into the oil/sugar mixture. 
Pour into greased 9 x 9 square pan. 
Bake for 20 minutes or until sides just start to pull away from the pan. 
Cool completely before cutting.
